Became COWARD to You for a COURAGEOUS SMILE

One of my 'sister's just got married last week.She told me something while we were chatting on the night before the wedding..something that may keep returning to my head for the rest of my life:
"It's too hard for us to give up our standpoint for the other side."
That's why we people never stop arguing isn't that?We all have different viewpoints over any trivial matters around.Sometimes they are polar ideas.However,at last we're still unable to tell which one is true.They always have their own different logic,all seemingly correct.Still,we can't tell who's the right one and we get very perplexed.
Constantly,we are unwilling to change our stubborn minds,even when at a certain point,we would stop there and start to doubt ourselves,and then lose ourselves.After this period,we'll stay confused,but carry on with what we believe,instinctly,and alomost blindly.In any case,we still respectively adhere to our own thoughts,trying to persist that we're correct.
Finally,seeing the inanition of this fight,I decided to discard my standpoint,make a peace,and start on a new page.This move was a trillion times harder than it might seem and all the courage had been summoned within myself just for this decision.I chose not to prove my point to anyone even it made me rather frustrated.I used up all my strength for this smile,and it was such a courageous peacemaking smile.I asked for this new peace for a new beginning,for your happiness again,but to you,all I've become is nothing but a coward who has cringed from his belief.
